What is SOAP

SOAP is our way of spending time in the ancient sacred Scriptures called the Bible. Each day we read a chapter from one of the books/complete works that make up the inspired, infalliable, inerrant word of God to man. We believe that this Holy Book is so life giving that God made sure to protect it over thousands of years.

How to SOAP

It's really easy! Grab a journal, a pen or pencil, and simply read the chapter for the day. Pick out one verse that seems to speak to you or caught your interest. Write it out. Write down out some thoughts about what caught your eye. Then, write down how it applies to your life, not your neighbor, co-worker, or your spouse and kids. Well, maybe the in-laws...No, you! What do you think God would want you to do with what you read? Trust me, He is speaking to you! Lastly, write down a short prayer asking God to help you apply His truth to your life. It's just that simple. SO what are you waiting for?
